Code Snippet Reader
If you write schema markup yourself, one missing comma can make Google ignore the whole block. This tool will let you paste just the code, with or without its script tags, and tell you whether it reads correctly and where any mistake is.
This tool isn't ready yet. When it launches, it will be announced on the What's New page.
What it will do
Paste just the code
No live page needed. Paste the JSON-LD on its own, or with its <script> tags around it, and check it before it ever goes on your site.
Points to the exact mistake
Instead of "this block can't be read", it will show the line and character where the problem is, like a missing comma or an extra bracket.
The same checks as the Schema Validator
Once the code reads correctly, it gets the same checks against Google's required properties and Schema.org type names.

Why I'm building it
Plenty of people write schema by hand, and the hardest part is finding the one typo that breaks it. I want a place where you can paste the code and get a straight answer about what's wrong and where.
What you can use today
- Schema & Structured Data Reader: Read every JSON-LD and Microdata block on a page and check it against what Google requires.
- Read the guide: What Schema Markup Is (and What It Can Still Do for You)
- Check every section of a page at once
